Bleak House, Broadstairs. Bleak House, formerley Fort House,
standing on the hill overlooking The North Foreland and Viking
Bay in Broadstairs, is the house where it is thought Charles
Dickens used to write when he was in residence. Now open to the
public as a memorial to the author. Location: In the centre of
Broadstairs.

The Dickens House Museum is on the main sea-front at Broadstairs.
This lovely old house has been adapted as a museum to commemorate
the novelist's association with Broadstairs. Some of the author's

of activities for the whole family and some of the buildings,
which are situated in the grounds of Minster Abbey, are believed
