Tullibardine Chapel, near
Gleneagles. One of the most complete and unaltered small medieval
churches in Scotland, founded in 1446 by the Murray family for
the use of the Earls and Dukes of Atholl, and largely rebuilt
about 1500. The church today is no longer in use but is well
preserved with much of the original architectural detail still
intact, in the care of Historic Scotland. About 7 miles southeast
of Crieff.
Drummond Castle, Muthill, Crieff, Perth & Kinross PH5 2AA.
Tel: 01764 681257. The Castle is famous for its magnificent Italianate
parterre gardens, one of the finest formal gardens in Europe.
Originally laid out in 1630 by John Drummond, 2nd Earl of Perth
and Italianised and embellished with a number of fine statues
in 1830. A special feature is the unique 17th century Sundial.
The castle is not open to the public, but the Gardens afford
splendid views of the buildings and surrounding countryside.

Glenturret has had a long and colourful history. From illicit
stills and smugglers, through the worldwide boom in Scottish
whisky to near dereliction post-prohibition, the site here at
Glenturret has survived through the centuries.It is the most
