The Lee Valley Regional Park runs for 26 miles between Ware in Hertfordshire and the East India Dock Basin by the River Thames. Much of the Park is accessible by boat along the River Lee. Enfield is on the banks of the river Lee, the King George Reservoir and the William Girling Reservoir. They form part of the Lea Valley chain of reservoirs supplying water for treatment in the North London area.
