Danbury village is surrounded by attractive open countryside
and woodland, much of it owned and protected by the National
Trust and Essex Wildlife Trust. St John's Parish Church is a
Grade 1 Listed Building with much of interest for the visitor,

Royal Horticultural Society
- RHS Garden Wisley (RHS) Garden Hyde Hall, Hyde Hall, Rettendon,

Hall was donated to the Society in 1993. Nearly 40 years of work
has brought it from a windswept hill with just six mature trees,

19473, built in 1916, and a 'Coles' Crane. Langford and Beeleigh
Railway - The main line that now encircles the museum building

working museum established on a farm at Burnham on Crouch, Essex.
It features a ¾ mile standard gauge passenger carrying
line, with restored stations, signal boxes and ancillary equipment.
The Museum has one of the largest and most comprehensive collections
of railway items in Britain. www.mangapps.co.uk. About 6 miles
south east of Maldon.
