Coity Castle, Bridgend. Coity Castle has been rescued from its
decay, and is now managed by CADW - Welsh Historic Monuments.
It dates from the late 12th century. Location: About 3 miles
west of Pencoed.
Ewenny Priory, Bridgend.
A fine example of a fortified monastery. The Parish of Ewenny
lies just off the southern edge of Bridgend. www.ewenny.org.uk.

Kenfig National Nature Reserve, Ton Kenfig, Bridgend CF33 4PT.
Tel: 01656 672922. Visiting The Kenfig Nature Reserve is a splendid
way to see the Welsh coastal landscape, with free access to the
car parks toilets and gift shop. Two bird hides overlook Kenfig
Pool. The reserve is open all the year round. Information Centre
- please call for details. Wheelchair access to the Information
Centre. Bridgend County Council staff manage the reserve. About
8 miles west of Pencoed.
Old Beaupre Castle, Nr
Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan, south Wales. The ruins of a Medieval
manor house, modified during the Tudor period. The medieval part
of Old Beaupre, dates from about 1300. About 8 miles south of
Pencoed.
