St. John's Kirk is the centre of the town and the oldest building
in Perth, dating back to to 1159. In May 1559 John Knox preached
his sermon here which inflamed the congregation and ignited the
Reformation. A display of Perth-made silver dating from the 17th

Perth Racecourse is situated in what is widely recognised as
one of the most picturesque settings in the country. Travel by
road - Coming from the South or the West you will approach Perth
either on the M90 (from Edinburgh) or the A9 (from Stirling).
From the north of England use the M6 Carlisle, M74, M73 following
signs for Sterling then follow signs for Perth. A free service
