Just to the south of Blair Atholl, the Pass of Killiecrankie
was the site of a famous Jacobite battle in 1689. The Killiecrankie
NTS Visitor Centre tells the story of the battle and of the local
wildlife and vegetation that has led to Killiecrankie being declared
a Site of Special Scientific Interest. About 4 miles northwest
of Pitlochry.

473524. Edradour whisky is produced in Scotland's smallest distillery,
lying in the hills overlooking Pitlochry from the east. Edradour
is the last survivor of the long tradition of farmhouse distilleries.
