	Ascot Racecourse. Tel: 01344 876 876. Ascot Racecourse, founded in 1711, is the world's most famous racecourse. The 2006 redevelopment has meant that the new Grandstand and the state-of-the-art facilities are second to none. 	Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berkshire SL4 1NJ. Windsor Castle ates back to the time of William the Conqueror. The castle is still used by royalty, in fact it is one of the British monarchs principal English residences. The towers and battlements of the Castle dominate the skyline of Windsor.
